Incidents in Avon Dassett, Chesterton & Mappleborough Green

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred in south Warwickshire over recent days.
 
On the evening of 28th July three hooded youths, two of which were male were making their way across a field at a rural premises in Mappleborough Green towards a foal.
As soon as they saw the owner of the foal they pulled up their hoods and walked away whilst gesturing in an offensive way.  They then headed toward the field next door to make their escape.


During the night of 30th into 31st July offenders forced their way into a steel cabin in a field in Chesterton by cropping the locks.  Items including chimney pots, insulation and pipe fittings were stolen.
A witness saw a red and silver Mitsubishi pick up with three people on board in the area at 8.15pm and this may or may not be connected.

Between 11.45am and 2.15pm on 1st August offenders stole a Ford Cargo horsebox from a premises in Avon Dassett.
 
Please remain actively on the alert for suspicious persons or activity on or around your land and buildings and please report anything that you consider to unusual or of suspicion to police.  Thankyou.
