I received a letter yesterday from Talk Talk saying that as I had requested a move to another service provider they were treating this as a cancellation notice and my account would be terminated in ten days. Having phoned Tiscali this morning I have been advised that another provider has reqested an unauthorised cease also known as "slamming". If I hadn't called then my account would have been terminated next week.
