Warwickshire Trading Standards Service today received a report about a man acting strangely in the Kenilworth area. He is reported to have cold called at the properties of two elderly people and asked to examine their lofts. He did not give an explanation for this request but does falsely claim to be working for the council. The man was dressed in all black (with a hood), about 5 ft 9" tall and wearing a backpack. The approach could be someone trying to sell loft insulation or might be a distraction burglary attempt.
